Go away, paparazzi!
Charlie's vocabulary exploded in the last month or two... it seems he was gathering a lot of information and finally decided to release them all at once. :) He can say a lot of things in Chinese, some in English and some in both but it's hard to tell why he favored one vs the other. It's also interesting to see more of his personality - he doesn't always repeat after you but he'll pay attention and only say it out loud when he thinks he got it and he usually does! Sometimes if he says something that makes you scratch your head wondering what he's talking about, he's very happy that he tricked you! (two days ago he suddenly wanted to say two, three without one in front of it and that made mommy wondered for two days what he was talking about until today he was watching Elmo counting and he said - loud and clear - "two! three!" hey, where did the "one" go?!

He can say big and small and knows the difference and he can count with you and knows the sequence for the most part. But if you let him count himself when walking up the stairs, he'll go "Yi! Ba! Jiu!" (one, eight, nine!) oh my.
