Charlie started school this week. Mommy started a folder to collect the daily report and his first art work at school. That little piece of paper that records how many times he got diaper change and what he ate at lunch and snack becomes the center of attention and was read at least 3 times by mommy, grandpa and grandma every day.
Mommy was very impressed on the first day of school when picking up Charlie that he actually collected all the blocks and put them back into the bin and then put the bin back onto the shelf -no wonder people send their kids to school! Mommy started self-doubting though on the second day when Charlie's interest in the new environment has worn off and started to cry... how could a mother not feeling like a huge failure when she can't hold her baby and had to flee the scene?
