Charlie-cool

Charlie has been in school over a month now. As all other moms have warned, the Monday after the first week had been the hardest... He refused to go to school so much that when he realized that he had to go to school after he got up, he refused to get out of his crib. Having nap in a new environment has been difficult for him too and he got so attached to his little pillow that he got to take it everywhere he goes. But regardless how much he resisted, he actually enjoyed school a lot. Two weeks passed and he's no longer crying and the teachers are now telling me that he's starting to make friends! Whenever you ask him if school is good or teacher is good, he'll say from the bottom of his heart "HAO!" It was sad though when mommy heard that one of the few kids he can call names are now graduating to the primary class now. Well, I guess he'll make other friends soon.

If you ask what teachers call him at school, he'll tell you "Charles".
These pictures were taken on school's Pajama Day - every kid got to wear their pajamas instead of the school uniform to school that day. Unfortunately, Charlie got cold after that and stayed home for a week! Next time mommy knows to put a thicker one on!
